Cam McAlpine is a respected strategist in corporate communications, public affairs and organizational strategy. He is recognized for his integrity, prudent analysis and trusted counsel. He focuses on helping organizations align strategy with vision, while remaining alive to broader policy, political and cultural contexts.

Cam’s background includes a decade in media complemented by broad communications experience at all three levels of government and in the private sector. Cam is a trusted adviser to executive and senior management, with specific experience in the practice areas of strategic planning, crisis and risk communications, stakeholder engagement, integrated public affairs, and facilitation and training.

He holds an Honours BA from Simon Fraser University and received his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS). Cam was inducted into the CPRS College of Fellows (FCPRS) in recognition of his integrity, professionalism and ethical approach across a 20+ year career. He was awarded the CPRS Shield of Public Service for his significant contributions to mental health.

He has been a director and/or officer of several boards throughout his career, including most recently as National President of CPRS and Chair of the Canadian Mental Health Association (Kelowna) Board of Directors.

Cam is honoured to make his home on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ (land) of the syilx / Okanagan people.
